CAPABILITY STATEMENT

NSS is an SDVOSB healthcare training and nurse staffing agency that expands the pool of healthcare professionals by offering non-academic healthcare training. Training includes flexible, hybrid, and virtual First Aid, CPR, AED, BLS, HCA, and CNA* courses focused on coaching competency, compliance, and communication. Home Care Aid and Nurse Assistant* course offered with the American Red Cross and DSHS curriculum. NSS offers short-term, on-call, or contract quality nurse staffing to medical centers, long-term care facilities, assisted-living facilities, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. We support the screening, recruiting, and onboarding RNs, LPNs, MAs, and CNAs for per diem, temp-to-perm, and contract positions. NSS provides an emergency medical response from small community events to national disaster relief. NSS offers EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) training for healthcare staff to support patient safety, workforce retention, and productivity. The combination of training, staffing, equity training, and emergency medical response divisions of NSS provides job training and opportunities for people living with disabilities, the unemployed, underemployed, people who desire more education, veterans, transitioning service members, and vocational rehabilitation. Through partnerships, this healthcare training consortium provides technical skills and job placement. It supports the larger national need for patient safety, reducing nurse burnout, lowering the academic threshold for entering the healthcare field, providing a vocational alternative while remaining accessible and mobile, and creating a supportive learning environment online and through mobile applications.
