NIA: Nurses in Africa

NIA: Nurses in Africa (NIA) is a clinical volunteer opportunity for medical professionals to volunteer medical services and clinical education to African people. NIA in Swahili means "purpose." The Nurses of NIA strive to serve purposefully - in a way that empowers people to become educated and independent with sustainable support and programming rather than repeating the dependency and savior complex cycle.

We have spent many years traveling to Africa to build relationships and become students in service. Join us as we explore how we can enter into a mutual exchange with the people of Africa.
